Lu Ying-Chang

LU,YING-CHANG was born in Taipei in 1979, and graduated from Fu-Hsin Trade and Arts school and

Visual Design branch in Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti Milano.

Every totem and item in Ying-Chang' s works is represented something. Rose, sun, moon are show in numerous works. It stands for the Unforgettable people or maybe symbolizes emotional relying. Ying-Chang uses oil color to blend its together. There are a lot of animals and roles is incarnation of his family.

Sometimes birds on behalf of his wife, sometimes cows on behalf of his father. You are reading affection between he and his family, his gift and essence when you are tasting his paints. Sometimes, you will associate with “Alice's Adventures in Wonderland” while realizing deeply about his works. After deformed, Alice tells caterpillar: “As you can see, I’m no longer what I used to be. “. However, the caterpillar askes her:” Who are you? Do you satisfy yourself now?”. Perhaps, we all need courage to break disorientation. Just like jumping into a strong pour and let the power push forward.
